Our Notes

Soft and dry, with subtle and subdued tropical fruit. Aromatic, with notes of nashi and European pear on the nose. A Grigio that chooses clarity and nuance over gluggability.

From the Winemaker

Fresh aromas of sweet pear. Dry with a rich and generous texture, and delicate tropical fruit flavours.

42˚S is the central latitude of Tasmania and this name reflects our position in crafting fruit-driven wines from our estate-grown grapes in the pristine cool climate of Southern Tasmania.

Sav Blanc?

Has all the characteristics of a Riesling! Minerals, dry and acidic.
Needs to be drunk at room temperature to appreciate the citrus notes at the end. Don't drink it too cold.

Very satisfying

Purchased based upon it's win in Germany. It's a wonderful sauv blanc for an afternoon with a few dips and friends. Not a patch on Cloudy Bay, equals Dog Point and Craggy Range, better than Phillip Shaw or Shaw&Smith. I'll buy again as it's great to have an Australian Sauv blanc in the house not ruined by the addition of semillion.

Great gift idea!

Got a bottle of Verve personalised and it was a great surprise. Can’t comment on the taste because she won’t open it. Lol

Stoneleigh Wild Valley Pinot Gris

A most drinkable pinot gris with a slightly sweeter flavour without the harsher overtones of similar products.
