From The Winemaker

The St Hugo Eden Valley Riesling is an outstanding example of a modern Australian Riesling, with great cellaring potential.

The chalky acidity and mineral character of the palate, brought forth by the careful winemaking, allows the premium fruit from the pristine Eden Valley to take centre stage.

The vibrant nose offers fragrant fresh lemon/lime blossom, with notes of bath salts. The refined palate is delicate and pure, showing a salty minerality and a taut line of acidity

About the Winery

Ordered for Mother’s Day with plenty of time. Turned up after Mother’s Day without wrapping that I paid for and two different brands of wine

Sav Blanc?

Has all the characteristics of a Riesling! Minerals, dry and acidic.
Needs to be drunk at room temperature to appreciate the citrus notes at the end. Don't drink it too cold.

Very satisfying

Purchased based upon it's win in Germany. It's a wonderful sauv blanc for an afternoon with a few dips and friends. Not a patch on Cloudy Bay, equals Dog Point and Craggy Range, better than Phillip Shaw or Shaw&Smith. I'll buy again as it's great to have an Australian Sauv blanc in the house not ruined by the addition of semillion.

Stoneleigh Wild Valley Pinot Gris

A most drinkable pinot gris with a slightly sweeter flavour without the harsher overtones of similar products.
